Same Story a Different Crush

So I wrote this like a little over a year ago. I just went one night and thought about past relationships and crushes and let it go. Anyways, this is one of my favorite things I've ever written as an attempt at writing a song. I do enjoy poetry and music. I simply wish I were more talented musically and well, poetically also. So, here you go:

You know I miss you oh yeah I miss you my timing's never right,
I know I should have just pushed the issue, it tWas love upon sight.
Sometimes I wonder oh yeah I wonder just what might've been,
Instead I am stuck once again writing with this pen.

It's the same ol' story same ol' story of things I have missed
Imagine with me where might we be had we just kissed
Yeah it's the same ol' story same ol' story of this man's cold romance,
It's just a story only a story of a weak fading chance

You see there was this one time O this swell time where things were going great,
But then a lie here or a lil lie there and trust just took a break.
See my heart is real big yeah it's real big I probably care too much,
Someday I'll realize oh yeah I'll realize our hearts will never touch.

Well lucky for me yes lucky for me I won't have to see you much
This does give me all the time I'll need to forget I had a crush
See crushes they come then they go then they come again
Someday a crush will become love this story will finally end
